The Al-Amin Trust Fund Corporation was formed for the expressed purpose of providing funding for religious and educational purposes in North America so that the quality of life and faith of its students will be enhanced for humanitarian ends. This will be achieved through fundraising, scholarships, and the delivery of religious and educational resources. It will also partner with other organizations of like-minded purpose when the need arises.
AL Amin Trust Fund, Inc. has embarked upon a new and exciting challenge to provide authentic Islamic Education to the incarcerated Muslim population. As-Saabireen Distance Learning Prison Initiative is currently being provided to inmates across the USA and Puerto Rico. The incarcerated will have the opportunity to study Islamic Sciences and Arabic studies through the curriculum of the International Open University. By doing this we hope to enable the Muslim inmate to learn the fundamentals of Islam and thereby gain the means for practical application in life. We hope that the course of study will also aid the Muslim inmate's rehabilitation process and assist in preparing the inmate for a successful and productive life after prison.
